Maharishi Valmiki International Airport, Ayodhya (ICAO: VEAY, IATA: AYJ) is located in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. Opened in December 2023, it serves both Ayodhya and Faizabad with domestic flights and plans for future international services. The airport has a 2,250-meter concrete runway and a modern terminal of about 6,500 m². Equipped with firefighting Category 7 facilities, it handled over one million passengers in its first year.
