- Valid aircraft documents (AOC, COA, COR, Insurance, Noise Certificate)
Permit Lead Time
Our close coordination with CAASL allows us to handle short notice permits whenever operationally possible. However, the standard permit lead times are as follows:
- Passenger or Cargo Flight Requirements: 7 working days
- Technical Flight Requirements (Fuel Stop Only): 3 working days
- Air Ambulance Flight Requirements (Medevac Flight): same-day processing possible
- Validity: 48 hours from approved schedule
Sri Lanka Overflight Clearance
All aircraft entering or transiting Sri Lankan airspace must obtain overflight clearance from CAASL. Applications should be submitted at least 48 hours before departure with a complete flight schedule, entry/exit points, and crew information.
Overflight Permit Lead Time: 3 working days
Permit Validity: +48 hours
Processing Fees: No official CAA fee (navigation charges depend on route flown)
