Gorakhpur Airport (GOP) is a domestic airport located about 8 km from Gorakhpur city in Uttar Pradesh. It operates as a civil enclave within an Indian Air Force base and is managed by the Airports Authority of India. The airport has one runway and mainly handles flights to major cities like Delhi through airlines such as IndiGo. A new terminal and infrastructure expansion are underway to increase passenger capacity and improve facilities, making it an important regional air hub for eastern Uttar Pradesh.
